15 More Satisfying Vegan Snack Ideas For Throughout The Day

If you’ve been following along with this blog for a while, you might remember me making a post titled 15 Quick & Easy Vegan Snack Ideas.

Since I am a very avid snacker, I only saw it fitting to draw up a second part-perhaps even make a series of posts on the subject.

As far as I’m concerned, snacking gets me through the day. I often find that I feel less bogged down by eating smaller amounts more frequently.

Not to mention that having grab-and-go options makes getting adequate nutrition more accessible, especially on days when I’m particularly busy.

So if you’re like me, read on and I’ll share another 15 vegan snack ideas:

1. Parfait with Vegan Yogurt, Fruit & Granola

Great as a breakfast, but also works really well as a mid-morning snack. I usually like to use sliced banana, but mix it up with whatever fruit/berries you enjoy. Opt for a honey-free granola, such as my Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola.

2. Trail Mix

Mix together ingredients such as popcorn, pretzels, chocolate chips, raisins, peanuts or even granola together and combine to make a perfect protein-packed and portable snack.

3. Peanut Butter Stuffed Dates

Dates stuffed with peanut butter is a fave of mine, and not just because I pledge undying love to peanut butter. Use a butter knife to split open pitted dates, spread your desired amount of peanut butter inside, and sandwich them closed.

4. Beyond Meat Plant-Based Jerky

A delicious and meaty protein-packed treat. Primal is another vegan jerky brand that I enjoy.

5. Instant Ramen

There’s a specific brand that I like to get from my local grocery store, because it’s only 80 cents and can be prepared with nothing more than a tea kettle (the Ramen Express Chicken Flavor, which is completely animal-free).

6. Meatless Roll-Ups

All you need to do is roll a slice of dairy-free cheese up inside two slices of meatless deli slices. There are a lot of different types and flavors of plant-based meat/cheeses these days, but Tofurky turkey slices with Daiya American slices is a nice choice.

7. Glass of Chocolate Almond Milk

This stuff is super delicious and creamy, and great when you want a sweet treat that’s also dairy-free.

8. Clementines

Clementines fit right in the palm of your hand and are definitely a portable snack. They’re sweet, easy to peel, and there’s an added bonus if you can get the ones without seeds. Not to mention they’re good for you!

9. Buffalo Wing Pretzel Pieces

One of my absolute fave accidentally vegan snack foods ever. Also a great portable snack, especially if you get the single-serve bags. There are also several other vegan snack foods (such as chips) that can be found in stores.

10. Banana Nice Cream

If you have more time to dedicate to snack time, you might consider whipping up some banana nice cream! It’s like creamy, banana-flavored soft serve, and goes perfect with some vegan whipped cream and a drizzle of peanut butter.

11. Zucchini Pizza Bites

These zucchini pizza bites whip up quickly in the oven and are a delicious, pizza-flavored way to get in a serving of vegetables.

12. Vegan Snack Bar

Snack bars (such as CLIF, Luna bars, Larabars, or Nature’s Bakery bars), are a portable and often protein-inclusive sweet treat you can stash in your bag for when you get hungry on-the-go.

13. Protein Shakes

There are also store-bought versions of protein drinks/shakes that are really tasty, but also great if you’re hungry and need a protein boost right away. One of my faves is Koia, which has several different flavors including Chocolate Peanut Butter and Coconut Almond.

14. Guacamole & Tortilla Chips

I love avocado. It’s a creamy and delicious ingredient that’s also a nice boost of omega-3s. I personally love avocado toast, but I also like the classic guac and chips. They make several varieties you can buy in stores (including single-serve on-the-go cups), but it’s also pretty easy to make from scratch.

15. Energy Balls

Another simple yet also very portable snack. I made them for a video one time (at 01:55 minute mark, if you’re curious) using nothing but crunchy peanut butter and brown sugar oatmeal packets-and yes, they were delicious. You can also use this recipe as a loose guide, just replace the honey with maple syrup and use vegan chocolate chips.

Thanks for reading! I hope that this post helps you on your vegan, vegetarian, or plant-based journey. See you next time 🙂
