10 Easy Bites to Make For Your Super Bowl Party

10 Easy Bites to Make For Your Super Bowl Party

The super bowl is coming up, and whether you’re there for the game, the ads, or literally just the snacks (honestly, same), no party is ever good without great food.

And it’s no secret that vegans can eat just as good as omnivores these days. Grocery stores are slowly realizing the greater demand for plant-based products.

That means more and more things are available to us, including fabulous vegan finger foods for your super bowl blowout.

So here are 10 great snacks, finger foods and entrees to serve during the big game:

Quick Vegan Zucchini Pizza Bites

Everyone loves pizza bites! But this recipe offers a slightly healthier twist with the inclusion of zucchini (they’re delicious, so long as you like zucchini). The perfect finger–or fork–food to break out at halftime.

Plant-Based Cheesesteak Dumplings (Bowl & Basket)

I’d never heard of something like this before I found these Philly Cheesesteak Dumplings, fully vegan and courtesy of Bowl & Basket. Cheesy and savory, they go great with your favorite dipping sauce (I like them with ketchup).

Vegan Buffalo Chick’n Dip

Buffalo chick’n dip is a longstanding favorite of mine. It’s creamy, meaty and spicy all at the same time, while also being 100% vegan! Not to mention it’s a breeze to whip up. It goes perfect with your favorite tortilla chips (or a vegetable platter, for a healthier option).

Vegetable Spring Rolls (Jennifer’s Garden)

I absolutely love these spring rolls. They’re completely vegetarian and vegan, and can be found right at your local Dollar Tree.

There are other brands if you can’t find this one, such as Bibigo, not to mention many store brand vegetable spring rolls tend to be accidentally vegan (just remember to double-check the ingredients before you buy).

I just love Jennifer’s Garden because they’re a wonderfully crispy and flavorful spring roll at just $1.25.

Best Vegan Spinach Dip (No Recipes)

This dip is so freaking good. Created by the website No Recipes, I’ve been making it for years and it never disappoints. I usually leave out the water chestnuts, but I’m sure it’s just as delicious with or without them.

Serve it with fresh crudités, tortilla chips, crackers or baguettes, or whatever you want! Even die-hards for the dairy version are likely to be impressed by this dip (I mean hey, even my sister likes it).

Brave Little Vegan’s Buffalo Cauliflower

Buffalo cauliflower is a staple dish in my house, but it also tends to show up on finger food occasions, such as the Super Bowl. It’s not hard to whip up, and it does a great job standing in for the buffalo wings we know and love while also adding a serving of veggies into your day.

Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos (Doritos)

Who doesn’t want a good chip during the Super Bowl? I know I do, and one of my favorite guilty pleasures is Dorito’s Spicy Sweet Chili tortilla chips. They happen to be accidentally vegan, and they have a delicious sweet heat that satisfies your Dorito craving.

4 Ingredient Southwest Stuffed Button Mushrooms

Stuffed mushrooms, anyone? They’re poppable, bite-sized and another perfect snack to add to your table. They’re low-sodium, and only 4 ingredients to boot.

“Pigs” In A Blanket

I’ve made these so many times it’s become like second-nature to me now. In fact, I’m kicking myself for not having posted the recipe yet!

But all you really need to do is slice the smart dogs in half widthwise, roll each half in a crescent triangle, place them on a nonstick baking sheet and bake them according to the crescent roll directions (usually about 375F in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, until the crescents are golden brown).

I will get around to posting a more detailed recipe at some point, but these are so good I didn’t want you to miss out!

Ultimate Plant-Based Chick’n Wings, Buffalo (Gardein)

These have a little bite to them, but oh man are they good. A little pricey I’ll admit, but if that’s not an issue I would recommend giving them a try. They go great with Daiya’s Blue Cheeze dressing, which is also a fave of mine.

If you want a meaty, close-to-the-real-thing substitute for boneless buffalo wings, this is a great option.

Cheers! Hopefully this post makes it a little easier to pin down a menu for your Super Bowl extravaganza (or something slightly less fantastical).

All of the recipes and products listed in this post are favorites of mine, so I really hope you like them too!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by my blog! Until next time, peace 🙂
