What I Ate Wednesday #1

Back in the days of my old food blog (circa 2014 I think?) WIAW posts used to be some of my favorite posts to make. So I thought I’d get back into the swing of it every now and then on this blog!

Not only is it a fun post idea for me, it also allows me to give you some inspiration for your own meals, and maybe even a tip or recommendation here and there.

So here you have it! My meals from Wednesday, April 21, 2021:

6:00 AM: I started my day with a glass of water, as I always do. A little while later I had some elderberry kombucha, which I sipped throughout the day.

8:30 AM: Breakfast was a sliced banana drizzled with 2 tablespoons of melted peanut butter, and a Chobani strawberry coconut milk yogurt on the side.

11:30 AM: I had to run a few errands with my mom, and afterwards we decided to stop for a treat. I got a non-dairy dilly bar which, while pretty basic, was pretty good.

1:30 PM: For lunch, I had a vegan turk’y (Lightlife) and cheddar (Daiya) wrap with vegan mayo on a whole wheat tortilla. I also had a sliced pear on the side, which I’ve really been into lately. Actually, I’ve been pretty into fruit in general lately.

6:00 PM: I forgot to take a picture of my actual dinner plate, but I had some of this mandarin orange chik’n with some steamed broccoli as well. I would just as quickly buy more, because it was really tasty! I would have liked the sauce to be a little thicker, but delicious nonetheless.

7:00 PM: As I was couch-surfing that evening, I had a chick-o-stic and a cup of Bigelow Tension Tamer tea. It had been a long, hard day and I was feeling pretty exhausted. But I also felt the fulfillment of a productive day.
