5 Day Vegan Meal Prep: What I Ate This Week + Hungryroot Promo Code
Hungryroot has been mentioned a lot all over the internet and, personally, I think it might be only worth it if you have a promo code.
That being said, they have a lot of great items and recipes on their site, and today I’ll be showing you what I ordered and ate for five days.
I planned my menu very strategically (selecting lower credit items and recipes), and also used a promo code (I’ll share a promo code with you guys below).
All in all, five days of meals and snacks for around $41 doesn’t seem too shabby in this economy, especially for an all-vegan menu.
But without further ado, here’s what I ate this week and what it looked like:
Breakfasts: I ate bagels for breakfast for the week, toasted with roasted red pepper hummus and sliced cucumber.
Lunches: Lunch for day 1 was an almond butter and jelly sandwich. Days 2-3 I had chick’n fajita bowls, and days 4-5 I had tasty mediterranean zucchini flatbreads.
Dinners: Day 1, I had one of their prepared meals, eggplant meatballs with orzo and marinara. Days 2-3 were sweet and sour chickpeas with broccoli, and days 4-5 were chickpea curry with veggies.
Snacks: I had to be a little strategic with these. I got a 4 pack of baby carrots that I divided into five, and enjoyed with their vegan house dressing. Three days, I got to have a hummus and cracker pack, and the remaining two I had some vegan cornbread muffins.
Overall, I really didn’t feel all that deprived. I was happy that I got to have snacks as well as filling meals, especially given the cost of food for the week.
I don’t know if I would really use Hungryroot long-term, but the promo code did give me a nice week of food for a nice price.
If you’d like to give Hungryroot a try, use my promo code! You’ll get $50 off, and so will I. I think it’s a pretty sweet deal, so if you’d like to give it a try click the link here.

Until next time, peace 😉
