I often find it entertaining (and many times useful) to see what other vegans and vegetarians eat during a typical day. Something about the pretty pictures and also the creativity that’s out there makes “what i eat in a day” content very appealing to me.
As much as I enjoy being creative in the kitchen, making up new dishes and impressive meals, sometimes the energy just does not find me. Those who struggle with mental health, like myself, may often have trouble getting the nutrition they need.
Growing up, sloppy joes were a staple meal in my house. That darling can of Manwich was a family favorite, not to mention an easy weeknight dish to prepare. As a vegan, my love for food–and the classics–has not changed.
There really isn’t anything like a gooey, chocolate brownie with whipped cream or ice cream. It is a warm, delicious treat that is well-enjoyed and well-loved by many.
