This quick and meaty sauce is perfect on pasta, pizza and more! It's also ready in less than 30 minutes and will leave your kitchen smelling wonderful.
18 oz package (2 patties) Beyond or Impossible burgerthawed or frozen, see notes*
4garlic clovesminced
1cupmarinara sauce of choicemore as needed
saltto taste
black pepperto taste
Instructions
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat with 1 tablespoon oil. Add the Beyond or Impossible patties and cook for 4 minutes per side* or until cooked through. Break up with spatula, and move to one side of the pan.
Add the minced garlic to the other side of the pan and cook until fragrant, stirring occasionally, for 1-2 minutes. Stir the garlic into the Beyond meat.
Add marinara sauce and stir. Simmer until hot, 2-3 minutes. If it's too thick, add a bit more marinara sauce to thin it out.
Serve the sauce over pasta or a garbage plate, in lasagna, on pizza, or anything else your heart desires!
Notes
*You can make this recipe whether you've thawed your burger patties or not, which is great news if you decided to make this at the last minute. That being said, you will need to cook the patties longer than indicated in the recipe above to achieve doneness if cooking from frozen. See packaging for internal temperature recommendations and use a food thermometer if you have one.
