This tofu dough is probably one of the easiest things you'll ever make. It's just the right amount for one person to enjoy, requires only 4 ingredients, and contains 9 grams of protein (depending on which brand of tofu you use)! Top it with whatever your heart desires, and enjoy!
Parchment paper (I found the crust stuck to the baking sheet a tad without the parchment paper, so I would highly recommend using it)
Ingredients
1/3cupfirm tofuabout 1/4 block
1/4 cup + 3 tbspself-rising flour
1tspItalian seasoning
4clovesfresh garlic, minced
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mash the tofu with a fork until it is in small, uniform bits. Add the flour, Italian seasoning, and garlic. Stir until it starts to come together in a dough ball, then turn it out onto a clean, floured surface.
Knead gently until it comes together completely and isn't sticky. Roll the dough into a flat, uniform circle (roughly 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick). Carefully transfer to the lined baking sheet.
Top with desired toppings (such as sauce, cheese, veggies or meatless crumbles). Bake at 400F for 10-15 minutes, until crust is lightly golden brown. Slice and serve. Enjoy!
